Who Can Join?​
Our program accommodates various entity types, from established organizations to smaller supported initiatives, including:

Legally recognized organizations (corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, associations, trusts)

Non-profit organizations (incorporated or unincorporated)

Governmental bodies or agencies
-
Initiatives, projects, or working groups that have an official website and are supported by a legal entity
To be eligible, you should:

Focus on one or multiple scientific integrity focus areas, including but not limited to scholarly infrastructure, communication, education, reproducibility, and/or Open Science
-
Demonstrate commitment to ethical and responsible research practices
-
Maintain independence from commercial interests that could conflict with our mission
How to join
Entities can become Partners through:

Direct invitation from the Alliance
-
Submission of an application form (non-invited applications will undergo evaluation by our executive and advisory board to ensure eligibility)

How We Work Together
Our relationship is built on independence and clear boundaries:

Each Partner maintains complete operational autonomy

This Program is not a joint venture or legal partnership
-
Partners do not represent or act on behalf of the Alliance
-
Partners manage their own operations, staff, and client relationships
-
The Alliance provides the platform but does not control or have responsibility for Partner activities, services, products, content, practices, or platform-related issues

Additional Terms and Conditions:

Partners engaging through separate service agreements have an independent contractor relationship terminable by either party with 30 days' notice
-
Separate service agreements, including marketplace arrangements, are governed by their own terms
-
The Alliance has sole discretion to decide upon the inclusion of Partner services, outputs, and products on its platform
-
The Alliance may modify program features or discontinue Partner participation at its sole discretion
Platform Use and Partner Responsibilities
To maintain a professional and effective collaboration environment, Partners must:

Create and maintain an accurate organizational profile
-
Keep your profile information and contact details current
-
Comply with Alliance's Website Terms of Use
-
Follow the HIKE Forum Code of Conduct when participating in discussions
-
Agree to reciprocal brand promotion between your entity and the Alliance
-
Respect Alliance branding guidelines by using Alliance marks only to:
- Show your status as a Partner
-
Present collaborative projects
-
Include in materials developed together
-
Maintain confidentiality
-
Support collaborative opportunities within the Partner's network
