Who Qualifies for the Reduced-Rate Subscription

Students:

  • You qualify if you are currently enrolled at an accredited educational institution at any level (undergraduate, graduate, master's, or doctoral). Both full-time and part-time students are eligible.

  • Eligibility is tied to active enrollment. If you graduate or withdraw during your subscription term, your reduced rate remains valid until renewal. At renewal, you must re-verify your student status to continue receiving the reduced fee. Recent graduates and alumni no longer enrolled do not qualify.

Individuals in eligible countries:

  • You qualify if you reside in a country classified as low-income or lower-middle-income by the World Bank Country and Lending Groups. The World Bank updates this classification annually based on gross national income per capita. The updated classification can be viewed at datahelpdesk.worldbank.org.

  • Eligibility is based on where you currently live, not your citizenship or nationality. Professionals originally from an eligible country but residing in a high-income or upper-middle-income country do not qualify.

Who Does Not Qualify

To keep this program sustainable and fair, the following do not qualify:

  • Professionals or researchers employed at institutions in high-income or upper-middle-income countries

  • Alumni or graduates no longer enrolled at an educational institution

  • Individuals temporarily visiting or traveling in an eligible country

  • Users who cannot provide valid documentation when requested

Student eligibility is verified through an institutional email address (.edu or equivalent academic domain). If an institutional email is unavailable, SIA may accept alternative documentation at its sole discretion, such as a current student ID, official enrollment letter, or tuition receipt.

Country-based eligibility is determined by the address registered to your SIA account, which must be in an eligible country at the time of subscription and renewal.

Your reduced fee status applies only while you meet eligibility requirements. It is your responsibility to notify SIA if your circumstances change (e.g., you graduate or relocate to a non-eligible country).

SIA reserves the right to request documentation at any time to verify eligibility. Subscribers found to be ineligible, or who provide false or misleading information,

will have their subscription terminated without refund in accordance with the

SIA Subscription Terms and Conditions and this website's Terms of Use.

If you are unsure whether you qualify or need help with verification, contact us at contactus@sci-integrity.com
