Join Our Advisory Board Member David Mellor for TOP Guidelines Presentation

๐Ÿคฉ Exciting news from our Advisory Board member David Mellor! Just a few days until the Metascience 2025ย Conference kicks off with a presentation about the updated TOP Guidelines.

โ“What is TOP? The Transparency and Openness Promotion (TOP) Guidelines were created by journals, funders, and societies to align scientific ideals with practices. TOP 2025 provides a comprehensive suite of tools to increase the verifiability of research claims through seven Research Practices, two Verification Practices, and four Verification Study types. The updated framework offers flexibility for journals, publishers, funders, and institutions to implement transparency standards at three levels (Disclose, Share and Cite, or Certify) while establishing community-wide standards for research integrity.

๐Ÿ’ฏ This represents a significant advancement in open science practices that directly supports our mission at the Science Integrity Alliance.
